Our Work
Each engagement begins the same way. A specialist visits your home for an afternoon. We document what is there: every piece of meaning, every item of significance, every object that carries history or value. We work room by room, quietly and without disruption. The homeowner is not asked to organize anything in advance, nor to be present beyond the moments that suit them.
The Record
Within seven days, the homeowner receives a complete printed record. It is archival, considered, and prepared with the assumption that it will be kept. Inside it, every significant piece is described, photographed, and valued against current market data.
For each item, the report includes a clear recommendation. Whether to retain, to sell through a dealer or auction house, to donate for a tax receipt, or to pass within the family. Where action is recommended, named contacts are provided.
A digital archive of the same record is delivered alongside the printed volume. One year of correspondence is included for follow-up questions.
The Visit
Most homes are documented in a single afternoon. Larger residences may require a full day, or occasionally two. The work is conducted by appointment, in private, and without intrusion.
We do not ask the homeowner to commit to any next step. The record is the deliverable. What is done with it is entirely the homeowner’s decision.
